Honfleur has several sister cities, in addition to Burlington: Miltenberger Kreis (Germany), Visé (Belgium), Sandwich (UK), and Inanovo Oblast (Russia).
In 2017 Honfleur’s Comité des Jumelages invited each of these cities to send two young people, to visit Honfleur and create a video about the city’s cultural diversity. So from July 29 to August 6, two teens from Burlington spent time in Honfleur working with other teens to create a film.
The two from Burlington were Eleanor Donaldson and Alyssa Wieland.
