Pétanque in the Park 2023

Please join the AFLCR for the French national pastime, pétanque (aka “boules”). From spring through fall, we will meet one Sunday afternoon per month at 4:00 p.m. (16h00) to try our luck and skill at getting the boules as close as possible to the cochonet.
No previous experience is needed, and we will provide boules if you do not have any.
If you are unfamiliar with pétanque, it is similar to Italian bocce and British lawn bowling, but it can be played anywhere by people of any skill level.
We will play at Airport Park on Colchester Point Road in Colchester—where the bike path emerges from the Delta Park neighborhood and then heads off to the Causeway.
We will meet at the large parking lot next to the baseball and soccer playing fields, then walk to the footpath by the trees at the back of the baseball fields.
