French for Hospitality Class

This summer downtown Burlington shops, hotels, and restaurants can expect to see an influx of visitors from Québec. To help local businesses prepare, the AFLCR is hosting French for Hospitality classes for workers who interact with customers.
The free “French for Hospitality” classes on Church Street in Burlington will teach key phrases in French as well as provide concrete ideas about how to accommodate French-speaking tourists.
Students will practice phrases and expressions that are useful in the workplace, and learn practical ways to let Québécois visitors know they’re valued. The message is the same to all: Bienvenue! We missed you and we’re glad you’re back!
Format: Two one-hour classes, on consecutive Mondays
Dates: Two sessions: May 8 and 15, and May 22 and 29 [UPDATE: SESSION 2 HAS BEEN CANCELED]
