The DAEFLE Entrance Exam (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère) is an entrance exam allowing successful candidates to apply to the distance education program for French teachers. This program is offered through the Alliance Française de Paris and the CNED (Centre National d’Etudes à Distance).
The DELF Exam (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) designed by the CIEP (Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques), are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education certifying a level of fluency in French. Such certifications are useful for school records, as well as college and job applications in French-speaking countries. Scores are valid for life.
The TEF (Test d’Evaluation de Français) is designed by the Centre de langue française of the CCIP (Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de
Paris) is designed to assess French-language proficiency of non-native French speakers. It is useful if you need to evaluate your French
skills for Canadian Immigration (TEFaQ), French Naturalization (TEF ANF), French Universities or for professional uses (TEF). Scores are
valid for one year.
