The Vermont French Learning Hub Soft Launch was a wonderful success. We members of the Learning Hub are so grateful to Alliance Française for hosting and to everyone who joined us on Saturday, September 20, to celebrate the start of this exciting new chapter for French language learning in our region.
From parents and caregivers to little ones enjoying French story time, the room was filled with energy, curiosity, and a shared passion for building a vibrant French-speaking community here in Greater Burlington. Over coffee and croissants, we connected around our vision: creating more opportunities for children in pre-K through Grade 8 to experience French immersion in meaningful and playful ways.
During the event, we introduced the Le Kit Parental—a resource designed to help families bring French learning into their homes through games, stories, and daily activities. Families also had a chance to explore curated French-language resources, learn more about plans for tutoring and immersion activities, and sign up for upcoming French playdates that will keep the momentum going.
Most importantly, we came together as a community to create a stronger, more connected network of francophone and francophile families across Chittenden County.
Together we’re not only preserving the French language—we’re building a joyful, inclusive community where it can thrive. We can’t wait to see you at our upcoming immersion activities and playdates! Until then, merci beaucoup et à bientôt!
