Dessert-Tasting Extravaganza II

The AFLCR and Your French Connection celebrated the return of spring with its second Dessert-Tasting Extravaganza on Sunday, May 5.

Five French dessert tastings (from France and Québec) were on offer, one from each of the following amazing categories: tarts, cakes, cream desserts, cookies, and pastries. Complimentary coffee, tea, or sparkling water were served.

The pastry chefs were Alliance Française teachers, students, and member volunteers. They were on hand to tell us about their pastry’s background story and to share recipe secrets.
