CANCELLATION POLICY:  Under-subscribed classes will be cancelled at the discretion of the AFLCR;  this is the only case in which refunds can be made.  Usually 5 is the minimum enrollment to run a class.

CLASS STATUS:  It will be noted on this page if classes have filled or been withdrawn or if their status is in question, requiring contact with Madame Tremblay before registering.

11-Week Classes

Level A1 102: Formerly Beginner B

Want to express your preferences with your classmates and learn how to talk about projects you have in the near future?  This class will also introduce a bundle of irregular verbs (and commonly used in every day language).

Language Requirement: Level A1 101, or equivalent
Dates: Tuesday 9/18 -12/4 @ 5:30-7 PM no class on 11/20

Level A1 104: Formerly Intermediate B

This class will get you ready to ask for and follow directions, as well as locate hot spots when traveling in Francophone regions. This class will also guide you on advising others.

Language Requirement: Level A1 103, or equivalent
Dates: Tuesday 9/18 – 12/4 @ 7-8:30 PM no class on 11/20

Advanced Conversation

Designed for High-Intermediate and Advanced students, this interactive class is an opportunity for students to practice their reading comprehension, listening comprehension and spoken skills through a variety of sources. Class activities are based on authentic materials borrowed from current events in francophone cultures (news articles, video clips, song lyrics), as well as the personal interests of the students.

All new students are required to contact Micheline Tremblay (education@aflcr.org) before signing up for this class.

Language Requirement: Intermediate or conversational French
Dates: Monday 9/17-12/3 @ 5:30-7 PM no class on 11/19
