July 17 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
On June 19, we had a very successful and pleasant gathering at Airport Park in Colchester to learn and play Pétanque, the national pastime of France. For those who were unable to make it, pétanque resembles Italian bocce and British lawn bowling, but it is played with baseball-sized steel balls and can be played anywhere there is an open hard ground surface to play on.
Given the enthusiasm, we will try to meet monthly as long as the weather permits.
The next gathering will be on Sunday, July 17 (rain date: July 24) at 16h00 (4:00 PM) at Airport Park in Colchester. We will meet along the path behind the baseball fields.
We look forward to seeing you there!
If you have any questions, please contact Erik Trinkaus.
