In July 2013, an official delegation from Honfleur visited Burlington. Led by Mayor Michel Lamarre, the delegation included Pierre Jan, the Honfleur city archivist; Christine Mas, the director of U.S. relations, and Corinne Lamarre (assistant archivist and sister of the mayor.
;n July 3, 2013, Mayor Miro Weinberger of Burlington and Mayor Lemarre signed a Friendship Agreement at Burlington City Hall.
Afterward the Honfleur delegation toured Burlington High School, the Intervale, the ECHO center, the Shelburne Museum, the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum,St. Michael’s College, Champlain College, the University of Vermont, and Burlington City Arts. They shared a final dinner at Shelburne Farms.
