A vous la parole! Advanced self-directed conversations

Conversation Courses
In this Winter Session, we will continue our casual and personal, yet focused conversations with more student direction. Participants (supported by the prof) will choose topics based on their interests and curiosity, which will become those focused conversations. These may be generated from a short story, photographs, a news article or report, a recipe, a play, a video, etc. These topics will be determined before class, so students have the time to prepare their ideas. In addition, we will be challenging ourselves with weekly grammatical mini-reviews to be applied in very controlled discussion to accomplish our ULTIMATE GOAL: to increase one’s comfort level with these advanced structures and the language. No book required.
