On August 12, the AFLCR organized a French-language tour of the Shelburne Museum’s Memorial Building and its surprising collection of fine Impressionist paintings.
The participants first enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch with patisserie and French wine. After that museum guide Bill Averyt led the tour, speaking in French. We spent the rest of the day exploring the museum on our own.
